Hi everyone, I have gotten great help from this forum. I have been working on a velocity and sunny sports gy6 150. I'm pretty mechanically inclined and just purchased a new engine from Amazon. It has no emissions on it and the breather tube from the valve cover vents to the transmission. Is this common? Thanks Spud link |

No they just hook them up like that so they don't flop around. Take the Valve cover vent hose and just put a fuel filter on the end of it and zip tie it higher than the valve cover. The tranny hose you can zip tie it just out of the way so it vents.

Welcome Spud....ive been to illinois twice,,first time i see snow since i migrated to the US,, so memorable..
yeah just secure those hoses,so dust won't get inside the valves and tranny gears...
