i need some help i bought 3 mopeds 2without keys ,and i wired the plugs to get them to crank by holding the brake but none of the 3 have spark 2007 wildfire,2009 jinshau? other metrex is there a wiring diagrahm to help me .not sure if these use a sort of pickup coil to excite the ignition module or where to start from. is compression 100 and above? thanks oldgold

Also to get spark, the flow is Stator, Pickup Coil, CDI, Coil, Boot Cap, Plug Also the motor has to be grounded to the frame otherwise no spark also if the scoot has a Killswitch it has to be on the run position and If a Sidestand Kill switch it has to be up. But to eliminate all that pooper scoopers just take the KILLWIRE off the CDI and see if it spark. If it does then the CDI is being grounded.

Still asking if they are 50cc or 150cc scoots Different wiring diagrams but very similiar or are they actually MOPEDS with pedals or are they SCOOTERS? I don't know why people call scooters MOPEDS, a MOPED has a MO=MOTOR and PEDS=PEDALS.

50cc maybe the problem with no keys and i jump wires to make turn signals work is not neccessarely turning ignition on .they have the same looking engine same carbs it appears for a ignition switch i have to remove the handlebars to get to the hidden screws. i have been reading about stator and pickup coil. in the video
one is a wildfire, one is a metrex

I would check the solenoid and see if it is connected right. To see if it spins your starter jump the two terminals on the solenoid it will send 12v to the starter if connected right and battery is good.

to be more clear it cranks but no spark i am going to check out the electrical from stator to coil this next weekend
