Very tempted to make an offer on this. First question I can think of is why only 194 miles after spending the money on a trike conversion. Any other suggestions welcome, as well as what is an approximate fair market value for this thing. detroit.craigslist.org/okl/mcy/4345841067.html\Thanks! Tom

Well, for some reason the link to the Craigs List site didn't post, so I'll try again: link

I know they are correct on the trike kit, Tow Pacs ain't cheap. So the question is.......... are they in a bind for dough, something wrong with the scooter, or just plain nuts? My first thought is if you ride this baby, can't find anything wrong, buy it and relist it for $1k more and make a buck if you don't want it for yourself. 09 I'd want to know where they bought it and if it has any history with the dealer?

Yea that is a good price for the whole package, just the scoot alone for the 400s they are asking a lot of money for them a 2007 almost 3K. But like JR said if your going to go for it Ride it give it a good ride and open it up and see how it handles. But yea they are either in a bind for dough or something is wrong with it. Now you know Yamaha parts are expensive and some are very hard to get. But if all is in the up and up like JR said you could turn around and sell that for 1K or more. Alleyoop

Thanks for the input JR & Alley. I sent the seller an email asking several questions. Will see if I get a response. Unfortunately the seller is about an hour & a half drive from here, and with this horrible winter weather we're having, taking a test ride is out of the question. A possible option would be to pay a local dealer to have a mechanic look at it for me. I dunno. We shall see. I really like the looks of that trike though.

No response from my email to the seller. I was polite & just asked a couple normal questions. Seems like if you were to take the time to post an ad that you would have the time to respond to a potential buyer. Or not. Could it be that some (most?) listings on craigslist are from bored 14 year olds?
