Help...My dad checked and there is no broken wires or loose wires and everything is plugged in. My dad wants to know does that mean the R&R is bad? Or is there something we are missing?

You need to check it with a volt meter , to be sure the stator is making lighting and charging voltage . anything less is guessing . If you have a voltmeter I can walk you through it .

Text me your number or call me. I have the picture of the meter. 702 245 3915 . We ordered a new light switch and installed it today but my lights still don't work. All headlight bulbs have been checked & they are good. I guess the only thing left is the R&R.. Thank you again for your help Mimi

Phone number is in my signature banner . Well now that you have a meter we can figure it out instead throwing parts at it . The regulator could put your headlights out , but it regulates ac from the stator . Lets isolate and test , figure out what is going on .
Are you or dad clear on how to work the meter ?

Im having an issue with my bike again. On the way to the doctor yesterday I was doing about 40mph when the bike seemed to loose power. I backed off of the throttle for a few seconds and then gave it some gas. I thought the problem was solved..NOT..About 2 minutes later it did the exact same thing but this time I lost power to the bike. I pulled over and checked to make sure the battery was ok etc. I could not get the bike to turn over. When I came back to get the bike it started right up and rode well for about 10 minutes until it lost power and shut down. Im thinking it could be my carb or fuel filter? We have had a lot of wind lately. I only run 90 or above octane. 1 last thing I smelled something like electrical with a little bit of smoke coming from the engine... Please help me. I love my bike & I miss riding her. . Thank you Mimi

Sounds like your valves are tight and when hot they are not sealing and that makes the motor loose compression and they will die. After this happens do you have to wait some minutes say 20 or so before it will start again? If so the motor needs to have the valves adjusted both to .004 inch gap or .08mm. IN the video he is using .05mm that is to tight for a 150cc. Alleyoop

Thanks for the response. Yes I do have to wait a few minutes. I will try this in the couple of days. We are having a wind storm today. I will let you know what the outcome is..

Make sure there are no vacuum lines coming from the INTAKE MANIFOLD open and or check the vacuum line going to the Fuel Pump make sure it is not cracked or split or leaking. By the way how did you check the fuel pump. Way to check to see if it is pumping good is take the fuel hose off the carb and put it in a cup or container and crank the motor over. It should pump out a good amount of fuel also make sure your fuel filter is not he problem and is not clogged.
Take some pictures of the carb area and the hoses, pictures are worth a thousand words. Alleyoop
