yup and i am not getting power to switch have ordered new one, when starter motor spins it should spin flywheel shouldnt it

The problem is from the switch back to the battery right? So we keep telling you to check BOTH sides of the fuse for 12v from the battery. If the fuse is bad no power will get to the switch or the wire is broken someplace from the battery to the switch. The fuse's many times look good but they are not, it could be the fuse itself or the connectors that it touchs on both sides are bad and the fuse is not making good contact to allow the voltage to travel where it is needed. appologies, i meant from switch the is power TO the switch but not FROM. Alley can you shed any light on the other thread?

Ah, ok then yes the switch is not making contact with the black wire that then sends the voltage to the rest of the system. Alleyoop

ok so it was the switch replaced that but then the starter motor turned but the flywheel didnt so i cleaned up the starter clutch whitch did the trick
