Hey Jr,top this...been with the same wife for 57 years tomorrow,July31..my biggest problem is I can't get her on a scooter,so she don't know what she's missing,and of course this makes it hard to find an appropriate anniversary gift for her..ya'll got any ideas ? Be glad to hear em--thanks ,fflinstone (PS...no need to suggest sexy frilly things,I forgot what you do with them)

Another 50 years is great, but you really do need to show each other you appreciate each other with a gift. After all 57 years is worth celebrating. I would recommend jewelry. Probably a ring. Nice symbolism there about promising til death do you part.

Won't get on a scooter!!! 57 years!! Man that's a long time and got to be a lot of love. I almost know what you mean on the forgetting what to do with that stuff too! LOL

I tell you what I would do, make reservations at a nice resturant, movie tickets if there's something on you'd like to see, or maybe going out for a little night out on the town. If you were here in Arkieland I'd say take her to Eureka Springs, make all the shops, a nice romantic dinner and a ride in the horse and buggie at night to see all the pretty lights of the town.

A late night toast and say lets keep adding them up honey!

Thanks for the good ideas guys,but we had good company ,from the Grandkids and and their kids,and we enjoyed our anniversary--and managed to get a new tire installed on Old Silver--a good day and didn't even have to leave the yard !!! fflintstone,ride on !!!
