hey guys got a mc54 250 244 motor got the burping and fan working now temp guage don't work right turn key on guage moves up. start bike guage drops down. run for a bit guage moves to first line then drops to bottom. replaced rad sensor, temp sensor ,got me baffled there was a 6in piece of aluminum wire hooked up to a cheep Chinese connector which then ran to copper wire I took it out, was way flimsy was that a mistake or wasn't it. next thing when I get time is running a jumper wire from guage to sensor to make sure there is no breaks in line. any more ideas would help it has got us weekend riders baffled otherwise bike runs great just turned 800 miles lol only get a chance to work and ride it on weekends since we all leave our scoots at our perm campground we all go to

If you have replaced the temp sensor and thoroughly went through the wiring, the only thing left is a bad temp gauge?

Check the wiring well including the ground wire on the back of the gauge before you go and buy a temp gauge.
