I do not like the low handlebars on the PST150 -8 so I have ordered ape hangers with a 12 inch rise, 5 inch center, 7 inch pull back and 32 inch total spread. Rough math says the total length of these bars is about 20 inches from center. Old bars measure 15 inches from the center. Electrical will be easy, but I don't have a clue on where to get brake lines or what size the banjo might be. I would think that I need to measure the length of the current lines, and have some made that are 5 inches longer. Does anyone out there know how to go about getting these made and what banjo to specify?
Sorry for all the posts. I have 25 years on motorcycles so the scooter transition was easy, but this trike thing is gonna take a little time. Totally new muscle memory to program! Still scared of the damn thing and not looking forward to my first pothole at speed. It's my first trike so I don't know if it handles well for a trike or if something is wrong. Front wiggles a little and if the road has a high crown or is sloped to one side, it wants to turn into the slope and follow it down. I just do the counter-steer thing and keep the wheel straight.
