Well, my PST150-8 came in today with the wheels in a box. I've never installed a front wheel and there were no build instructions, so this is what I did. Short spacer on the rotor side. rotor and caliper line up perfectly: good fork clearance.
Put the long spacer on the other side. I ran the axle through and cranked it down as tight as a I could. Then I installed the nut. Problem is that I have only about 1/8 inch clearance on the non rotor side. Did I over tighten the axle before I installed the nut? And if so, can I just back off the axle bolt and re-tighten the axle nut, or have I pushed the bearing into wheel?

[replyingto=alleyoop]alleyoop[/replyingto]Thanks! That is what I have. It came with 2 spacers. I put the shorter spacer on the rotor side and the longer spacer on the other side. Very small tire clearance on the other side. Caliper and rotor line up perfectly. Also, when I compress the forks, it hangs just a little before it returns.
Found it! I just thought I had the spacers where I said. Pulled the wheel and swapped spacers. All is good.
