300cc kit in Linhia 257cc anybody ? By 4950cycle (Read 761 times)

Has anybody here ever put a 300 kit on their 257cc Linhia power plant ? And if so, After breaking in did it show any gains over the 257 engine ?

Known several that have and the gains are minimal. The 300 linhai in most scooters is a 72.5mm bore which = around 275cc:

There is a guy on Ebay, name is Carlos with autotech that sells a 75mm 300cc bbk for the linhai, good guy and will treat you right, just haven't looked him up but even 75mm will get you only to around 288cc.

If I ever tear into mine that's what I'll do for just a little more power in the hills.

Why waste the money wait until the scooter engine gives and then rebuild it with a custom engine thats cheaper or just find another 300cc engine for sale.
