I have new exhaust gaskets arriving this week. Is there a recomended or suggested sealant that should be used during installation. I haven't read of or found anything on the subject.

Also, is the heat too intense foe blue Lok-Tite...one of my stud nuts is completley gone....no wonder I need gaskets. Just don't want another one coming off.

Hopefully performance will return when this little project is complete....It should.

Too hot for Loctite, will melt it in minutes and no sealer needed. Just get it straight and snug, after it heats up and cools snug it again.

Especially, the re-snug after cooling.
