looks to me its hooked up both as they both have a black and yellow wire like the diagram

l gonna get one of those hour meters and tachos off ebay n hook it up it wont be pretty but at least it cover up the stock tacho on my dash cluster now l go n put it back together lm gonna get a new donk soon so when l do that l strip down the electircs then and check them all its the blue cdi this is the ebay seller of the cdi just_onlineauction its a blue cdi with a graph on it and it say on top new raceing cdi

can ya belive this just went out to put back together so l started it up no worries and turned it off via kill switch it wouldnt stop had to use the key to stop it l pulled the wires fron the kill wire connecting plug and noticed the green wire point where it connects was bent out of place and maybe not connecting or conecting too a postive anyway l straighted it up renconnected it started her up and bingo its idleing at about 1700 rpm it seems to work when l rev her too so lm hopeing l ve found my probem a green wire not connecting proplery so thx one and all for your support

That is great to hear, Sounds like you found the problem. So where did you connect the wire from the tach to on CDI? And which wire on the CDI BELOW PICTURE? Alleyoop

the coil feed wire yellow and black on your diagram it connects like that it was very frustrating took me ages to find but with everyones help and this site and trail and error it was fixed and the kill switch wires was the only ones l found bent at the coneccter well they was the ones l never checked before today l straighted them out slipped them together and it the tacho worked propley thxxxxxxxx again you good people just wish here in ozz we had scooter shops like you guys do in the states

Thanks Beakeyozz, Knowing how to connect the a tach wire to the COIL FEED WIRE will help a lot of folks that want to get a different tach. You where the science project on this one and you thought all of use something we did not know. Thank you Alleyoop
