Excerpt from one of my [required reading] Psychology 1000 college books called, "The Dialectical Behavior Therapy Diary: Using Compassion-Focused Therapy to Overcome Shyness and Social Anxiety"
This excerpt is from chapter three, where Dr. Reynolds, Professor of Psychology, Columbia University, New York, discusses the signs of Overdependence, and when it is Important to seek treatment. I won't bore you with the entire article, since the conclusion sums it all up. Below is about 1/3 of Dr. Reynolds' conclusion.
============================================== Overdependence - The Human-cat Bond Disorder -Vicky Reynolds, M.D., Psychiatrist, Cognitive-Behavioral Specialist
... So, in conclusion, when do you know when a family member or friend needs to seek treatment? Is there a particular type of person that finds themselves in this predicament? In my caseload of over-attachment psychological disorder patients, there are elements that these cases all have in common. Over-attachment problems occur when many (more than three) of the elements occur together.
Common short-list of elements in over-attachment disorder cases:
•Owners are women. •Owners live alone. •Owners have been, or are on Prozac or similar psychotropic drug, or have been treated for a psychological problem, or experienced a bereavement or divorce. •Owners are anthropomorphic about their cats (refer to their cats as if they are human). Many conducted the consultation by talking to the cat rather than make eye contact with me. •Owners don't go on vacation or visit friends or family overnight because they don't want to leave their cats. •Cats are kept exclusively indoors or allowed restricted access to outdoors under supervision for reasons of 'safety'; owners worry that their cat would be exposed to unacceptable dangers if he or she were to go outside. •Many referred to themselves as being perfectionists, eager to please and desperate to do the right thing. •Lives often revolved around the daily requirements of their cat. If working, owners made incredible provisions for the wellbeing of their pet during their absence and they couldn't wait to return home to check on their 'safety'. •Most regard themselves as the savior or rescuer of the cats
It is imperative that the affected or diagnosed patient seek treatment immediately. Symptoms of this psychosis often include suicidal tendencies, atypical suicidal thoughts and behaviors that can manifest at a moment's notice, without warning. Families of the patient are usually shocked at the suicide, stating that they never realized the patient was depressed, or they never saw any signs or symptoms. In practice, the lifestyle of the affected patient was all the warning signs needed for diagnosis.
Many of my patients see life in the extreme, paranoid and delusional, thinking that the world outside their "cat-house" is closing in on them. They believe the "world is out to get them", and they will usually retreat to their 'kingdom' when challenges arise on the outside world, or in daily life. Most times, expressing to their cats (verbally, as if they were Human) all of their problems when they get home.
The affected patient is usually anti-social, at least in physical situations, or 'in-person'. They tend to shy away from social gatherings, friends and family. However, they may in fact be highly social in other non-physical environments, such as on-line media, telephone or texting. In this regard, the patient not only socializes, but does so in an aggressive and sometimes overbearing manner with the typical "don't tell me what to do" attitude. The patient will challenge anyone who challenges any of their beliefs or their psychosis, and will look for others in their social, non-personal queue to back them up (presenting innuendo as fact) that they are under attack by an imaginary aggressor. They see themselves as victims of a cruel and evil world and seek out others to come to their defense. ==============================================
Now before you take this the wrong way, I didn't spend the last 10 minutes transcribing this from the book to attack you. I did it so you can see that you might just have a problem! I don't even know you except for reading a few of your posts, and after doing so, it seems you meet all the criteria for this disorder. Hopefully you'll see that as well.
The conclusion goes on to talk about how to get help and why you will resist accepting that you do indeed have a problem in the first place. All you have to do is re-read the list of elements a few times and be honest with yourself!
My hope is that *maybe* in the coming incarceration period, you will take advantage of the psychological help available to you in jail and come out a different person. We all carry around emotional baggage, and some never have the resources to change. This incarceration can be a positive life changing experience for you *if* you want it be.

and since your the big ass shrink what do they say about guys who call them selves "THE BIG GUY" and has a avatar of rambo are you overcompensating for something Nope, I don't call myself that, I didn't create the nick-name, my friends did -- and the origin was because I had a big heart. And the avatar is not Rambo, it is actually me in the picture at Medieval Times. Would you like to attack anything else? Somehow I knew you wouldn't take it for what it was worth! Reread it... a few times. It's not my opinion, and the intention was for you to maybe recognize and deal with your psychosis. You do realize your behavior is not normal, right? Deal with it while you have the opportunity to! On the taxpayer's dime! Once you deal with it, all the drama will go away... -Rich

Ok to say the least it's been a stressful week as far as SD goes and lots of people around belong to several of these forums and I thinks feelings have been up on a high note so to speak.
We are not accomplishing anything now and there will be no reprimands here nor deletions. I know that people will stick up for their friends while there are also ones who give opinions sometimes that can offend even though those opinions seem to have a just basis and are only trying to help. I see this happening here, have known Bong for a long time and know he will stick up for what he thinks is right and I've known the Big Guy even longer and know for a fact he is not trying to be harsh here and is trying to help in every way.
Time for us to get back to what we love scooters and helping each other in every way we can.
