The other night my speedometer slowing fell to 0mph, and hasn't worked since. Has this happened to anyone else? How do I go about fixing this problem?
Thanks, Ian

Is it digital or mechanical? If mechanical check the cable at the wheel and where it screws into the speedo in back. The steel cable could have broke inside the sheave or cable or it could be the speedo hub on the wheel or the cable connector that connects to it. If it is mechanical you can take the cable off at the wheel and make sure it is screwed into the back of the speedo and you can use a Drill hook it up at the bottom and turn the drill on NOT FULL SPEED and watch the needle if it goes up your speedo. THen the problem is where it connects to the Speedo hub or the end of the cable is broke. Alleyoop

Here is my cable on my Trike: Notice the screw that holds it in, just take the screw out and pull the cable out then you will see the Metal Cable inside. You follow that up to where it connects to the back of you speedo and make sure it did not come unscrewed and is nice and tight. Then you can either test to see if it will move the needle on the speed by turning the cable at the bottom. Alleyoop
