so I picked up a 50cc not running , it purrs like a kitten now .
then I picked up a 150cc not running , I checked ac cdi power no good , I did not change the stator , But I got it to start . It does not charge . How did I make it run ? (quiet JR )
Then was the avt I made pretty quick work of it as well .

you replaced the trigger coil

the trigger coil is good and working , not getting the 40+vac (power) .

A guys I have plenty of parts . Plugged in a dc Cdi and ran 12vdc one the bullet connector red/black . Then it started .

I was just going to say you put in a new CDI, but yea doesn't matter if you stick a DC CDI and not a AC CDI as long as you feed the DC 12vdc and tape up the one coming from the stator. They do the sameo sameo just the input is different. Alleyoop

If it doesn't then the stator does feed the CDI.
