First of all welcome to the forum! Can you relate as to what is whining? Does it sound like it's in the engine block area? Or maybe the CVT and/or wheel area? Also does it whine at idle or at a higher RPM or both? Does it whine sitting still or only when you are moving and is it worse at a higher RPM? All the guys will put their heads together and we'll see if we can help you stay on the road. JR

Welcome Sky50, Yes a little more detail info as to where the whineing is and WHEN it whines is important to determine what if might be. It could be the tranny is LOW in oil and the whineing are the gears when you are moving. The Tranny gears will not whine when it is IDLEING and the REAR WHEEL IS NOT SPINNING, but if it start whineing when you get the wheel to spin then I would check the oil and or DRAIN it and fill it up. It only takes about 4-6 ounces of oil. You can put in 15wx40 if you have that or 80wx90 weight tranny oil they are equivalent. Alleyoop
