GASKET QUESTION By alleyoop (Read 1,015 times)

Hi Troops,
On my GY6 motor It has a Rubber Gasket sort of like Around the VALVE cover. NOT the small thin round one that goes in the Valve Cover but another one around the HEAD and it is thicker and wider.

I cannot seem to find them for sale has anyone else found the gasket on their heads around the Valve Cover?

Found out what the gasket is for it is to go around the opening of the Cooling Shroud by the head. Now to find someone that sells them.

HAHAHA, Very cool guys, thanks a bunch, I have been googling and I GET ZIP, ZERO, NADA, not even on a full cooling shroud do they show it.

Al it is listed for a 50cc on one and no engine size on the other .

let me compair the 50cc to the 150cc head .

Nice find, John. I saw it on my earlier google run. I'm quite sure it won't fit the 150cc which is a 2 piece gasket.

Yea, I only got hits for 50cc shrouds as well which are smaller.
