I am new 2 all of this, forums, scooters... but I am finally giving it a chance bc I am seekin assistance in the scooter world. My name is paul , from wisconsin.. a student with a foreign machine I am clueless about. i own a 2006 NST moped.. not sure if its 49cc or 50 cc but i was told it is a 50 cc.. i am currently not by it to be able to list model numbers of any sort so i apoloize.. it has never given me any issue until i made a mistake of allowing a irrespnosible friend of mine borrow it.. long story short, i got it back completely wrecked.. not even running condition.. wit my lack of knowldge and expertise i didnt even know exactly wat was wrong wit it.. i was told by a friend thhat i need a new battery, and a throttle cable.. i found parts online , but my questions for all of you out there willing to help a fellow scooter rider, What length throttle cable should i get? a 78 or 79 in cable? and is a 12V 7Ah Battery correct one for my moped? would really appreciate any assistance wit this .. or any suggestions at all... hope to hear from at least one person soon!

First of all Welcome to the forum! Second is this your scooter?

On the cable lot's of times 1 inch will make no difference one way or another but if you think it might then best thing to do is measuer the one presently on the scooter after you remove it.

On a 50cc a 12V 7 Ah battery will be fine. Yes it sucks that your friend messed your scooter up but we'll all help you get her going again.

k i see you are a student hope that you learned lesson number 1 not let anybody borrow your ride like Jr said the battery will be fine we need more info so that we can help so please tell us the best what is wrong and we will help you get it going

Welcome Paul,
Good to have you on the forum, and do not worry we will all help and get your scoot back in running condition.
If you can tell us what the problem is and put up pictures and or videos of what the scoot is doing or not doing that will start the ball rolling telling you what to do to get it up and running again.
