Hi everyone. We have an automotive shop where we try to work on scooters for people that have no other options as far as these scooters go. We have a 54B 250, so they aren't a problem to work on. But this is a CFMOTO Royale. Customer said it ran great after he cleaned the carb. Then he noticed the headlights were out. Also his cooling fan NEVER runs, never has since he got it going. There is no power to the switch on the handlebar. Does anyone have a power schematic for this creature or an owners manual or ANY info on it what so ever that might be useful in checking the wiring? Thank you!!

Okay, now we know the problems in the start switch. You get them working, start it up and they may or may not come on. Wiggle the switch itself and it goes off/on. Now the million $ question, anyone have a lead on a switch?

Hey alleyoop! I know it's not the one from rogue, it probably is the one from monsterscooterparts. I'm going to call tomorrow and see if i can get a better picture from them. Thank you for the links. I have found almost nothing about this bike. It's just like the Fashion, but says Royale. Manufacturer sticker says it's a cfmoto 250. I haven't even been able to find any pictures on the web of them with that name. They call them a Freedom also.

They are very common and the HONDA HELIX parts fit that scoot as well. If you look at the body shit even my Ice Bear Trike which has the 250 body looks like it and parts would also fit. Alleyoop

Wish I had lucked up on this scoot. It's got 354 miles on it!! The guy paid $300 for it! Oh well, he's gonna ride it like it is instead of getting the part. Another no money customer, gotta love em! Just got a call from a guy with an 09 SunL 150 that wont crank, kick starter's even frozen up he says. Sounds interesting, will let you know what we find. ; So glad I finally found my old bookmark from the scooter doc days. jrryan, so VERY glad you moved over here. :

LOL, that's what I meant, glad he built this site rather than stick it out where he wasn't appreciated!! I for one and very grateful for ALL the scooter guys and gals here. I would have given up on my little sugarscoot if it wasn't for the advice I got from JR, you Alleyoop, and others. Got all the gremlins out of her and she's the talk of the town. ;

Got that SunL 150 in, electric starter is out first of all, second the kick starter was frozen, got it loose but no start. Compression is good, so hoping a good cleaning of the carb does the trick. Bike has sat up for a loooong time. I got some enzyme fuel treatment for my scoot. She was acting a little sluggish after the winter nap. It's supposed to help keep the ethanol from gunking up your engine when it sits. May suggest he use some.
