I have original in the shop and will go measure. If I can get it out as shop is full of majesty parts every where. Mine is torn apart and been waiting for parts coming from japan for a month. I know I would never consider ever getting another one after this crap./

I got it out of the box and it is supposed to be the original although besides majesty markings it also has mitsubishi on it Probably the maker of the screen. Any way it is 25 3/8 tall and the one on the majesty is almost 30" and is a givi.

In my opinion the majesty is the worst designed scooter ever made. It takes hours to remove the crap tupper ware and replace it. It takes $92 worth of air filters that pick up dirt right under and behind the front wheel. I feel the last owner of mine ran it with out filters cause of the price and wore the rings out. the compression ring has over 7mm of gap when placed in center of cyl. I finally got the over sized piston from japan, ups damaged or lost the first set of over sized rings and they have been reordered from japan. Can't even take the cyl to the machine shop for boring till I get the rings. I am pissed with yamaha and will never buy another of their products.....ever. The majesty is totally unservicable. john

I may have got a bad apple but there is no excuse for not having parts available with out having to try to source them from japan. If I had bought chinese I would have been riding in a week worst case. john

Soooo I didn't create this thread for someone to bash my new purchase. So deleting now and going to recreate so productive posts can be made.
