This maybe off the track , when I apply the front brake on my vespa I hear a buzzing noise . 07 vespa GTS 250 .

jhon if it just started i would double check the bolts on all the brake parts to make sure sometime is not loose and maybe take the pads out and check them you can put some antisieze on the backing plates to help reduce the noise also

Could be as bugging just said and it could be worn pads. Also the calipers have a rubber bushing insert on the pin that slide in and out as you apply the brakes and let off.

My rubber bushing fell completely out so I made a new one out of soft brass and inserted it with a little grease and all was well. Also the pads may be noisy due to wear and here is a noise dampening paste one can apply on the back of the pads that will help if that is the problem:

Also sometimes pads can get uneven on the surface and the rotors also and here's a trick I use that you can get at the local Dollar Store and coat the rotor and pads with and they will smooth themselves up;
