Well today It is pretty nice out and pulled the trike out and let it warm up and took off. Got about 1/8 of a mile and my rpms are climbing and slipping. Pulled off to the side and oil is dropping from the CVT. Turned around and nursed it home. Pulled the Oil stick to check the oil level and it was low.
Pulled the CVT cover off and oil was all over the place. The Damn Crank seal was leaking, so took everything off cleaned out the cvt area degreased the belt clutch and variator. Then I struggled getting the damn seal out AGAIN. Put a new seal in and put everything back and started it up and I hear a funny sound.
DUMB SHIT I FORGOT TO PUT the oil Plug back on when I first tested it since I knew I would have to add some oil. OIL GOT THROWN ALL OVER THE PLACE
. I mean it flew 6 feet got that SHIT all over my tools and workbench on the floor on my tire and fender WHAT A MESS.
SHIT happens to the best of use. It was more work cleaning the oil than fixing the damn Trike.
Hope I don't do that agian.
