I have a brand new 2011 (less than a week since delivery) YY250T - the Jonway version of the MC54-250B. This is my first motorized two wheeler in 5 years - I sold my Honda VT100 Shadow a few years back and I always kind of regretted losing the freedom of two wheels and the wind.

I'm old enough to retire - but I won't. Not yet. I will ride this scoot to and from work - it's my way of fighting high gas prices.

Welcome to the forum fellow YY250T owner. Post some pics when you have a chance. Don't forget the PDI since this will avoid possible problems down the road.

Thank you for the welcome. The PDI is done - I'm in the process of doing a "hard break in". The picture in this message is right after I got done putting it together and I'd actually started it for the first time.

Nice looking scoot. Looks like you did a decal delete. If you have the original tire valve stems, you should check this instructional video:

The originals tend to let go at the rubber grommet. Usually happens while riding.

This is the style of valve stem I prefer. Will last the life of the scoot.

Welcome to the forum Iceel, Good to have you on the forum. Well have to tell you this is the only place where you will get the CORRECT poop on the 250cc scoots. Whatever it may be cooling, Electrical whatever.
Now JR says red are fastest but I don't think it is because of the COLOR I think its because HE HAS WHITEWALLS on his Scoot
