This is the inside of my valve cover, I mentioned the repair that was done before I owned the new 150 I bought from GS motors to JR some time ago and just located the picture tonight. It does not leak and still have no idea why they put JB weld all over the corner. It is a shoddy repair to say the least.

That's one I can't figure out either John? Looks like someone just was playing around?

A replacement rocker cover is an inexpensive insurance policy that this epoxy fix doesn't chip off and lock your oil pump.

I would chip it off and find out why it was there in the first place. oftimes a small hole can be repaired by tapping and running a screw into it but if you are not to hard pressede for money, Kike is right.
Good find it. Cheers lefty2

Maybe next time I set valves I will knock it out and see what is going on. Doubt if GS motors did it but it did not get there by accident. I just did not want to take the time last valve set. Setting valves don't take long but all the crap you go through to get to them and putting the tupper ware back on does.
