Well If it cannot be found as a replacement part I would take the sucker off and put a Fuel filter on the vent hose from the gas and tie it up high and block off everything else. Unless of course you actually have to take your scoot every so often for emission test then you will need it on. Alleyoop

Totally agree Cruiser and I would say that it works just like a PVC valve on a auto except it's vacuum controlled? With engine off it is closed and with engine on it allows the fumes to go to the cannister then on to the air filter box to be pulled in by the carb and burned by the engine. I'd buy the cheap one on ebay myself. JR

Yes, that is a good find , I tried like heck to find one like the one that the scoots come with but no luck. So yes that one that Cruiser found will work just fine and cheap to boot. Alleyoop

I believe my glue job worked. I put the thing back together and mounted to the seat housing and all seems to work well and no leaking. I don't think at this time I will need the a replacement part. Thanks to all.
