Hello everyone, My name is Arron. I recently bought a 2008 Lance Phoenix with about 8000 miles on it. It had not been properly serviced ever with the exception of the oils being changed. Shortly after purchasing it, it began to stall after riding it when I would stop and shut it off and then start it up and ride again, when I would get back on the road, it would just die like it was out of fuel. Then it would start back up like nothing was wrong. I could go sometimes for miles or feet, but it would always restart and go. This got progressively worse. I adjusted the lash on the valves to .005 and changed the oil, spark plug, vacuum hoses, petcock valve, checked the spark and its good. just noticed the ground wire to the battery is only grounded to the flywheel housing and not anywhere else on the frame(picture included) But after cleaning and re installing the carb, it turned over and ran a couple of times, but would die shortly after warming up, I let it sit overnight and it started up again and ran until it warmed up and then it died again and wont start. Checked the plug and I have good spark and opened the float bowl drain and it was full. I don't have a compression gauge to check the cylinder compression or that would be the next step. I am looking for any Ideas as I am out of my depth. Thank you in advance for any and all responses.
