I have a 260 Linhai Aeolus scooter. I removed carbuerator & cleaned & adjusted valves. Scooter was running great then after about 10 miles of stopping & going it stalled. Cranks up each time but have to keep throttle cranked up to keep it running. Idle sounds good too. Also, does anyone know the color of the wire that attaches to the bottom of the carb resistor on this model?

Hello Sdie and welcome to the forum. A little confused here? Are you talking about the autochoke on the carb?
Don't have a wiring diagram on this scooter but I'll look and if you lost pwer to the autochoke it's running rich and could be the problem.
If you can could you send a picture to clarify what you're asking about?

Found problem in stalling, when I cleaned the carb the A/F screw was loose & fell out. Fortunately the screw was still sitting on top of engine & not on the street somewhere. I put a tiny bit of blue loctite on threads, so hopefully that does the trick. I am not talking about the choke enricher wire that is on top near the side of carb I'm familiar with that one, I am referring to the wire that attaches to the very bottom float bowl. Thanks for responding JR.

Goodness that would for sure cause it to stall, I just hope you don't need to adjust it again because you may have a problem with the loctite if you do? I generally after I adjust it take a little dab of silicone and put on the screw and that allows to adjust it with very litte problem.
Now unless you've got some carb I've never heard of the only thing I know that is attached to the bottom of the carb is the drain hose on the float bowl? But I've missed them before! LOL

hey JR, i was thinking of silicone but was afraid of it getting into port & plugging it up completely. That's why i used the blue instead of the red loctite so i would be able to turn it later on if needed. i'm sorry i misled you with the wire, it's not directly attached to the carb bowl it is between the carb bowl & air filter adaptor hose.

Hey I understand and what I meant was adjust the A/F screw and put a dab of the silicone on the outside of the screw and the carb body. It adheres itself well enough to hold thre screw but easy to get off if you need to move the screw.
I'm at a loss on the wire but if you can give me a picture of what it's attached to I may can help.
