While adjusting the two collars on the handlebars so that the brake levers are at the same angel, I noticed one of the bolts which I just put back in and tightened the other day was loose. Finger loose! And I hadn't ridden the scooter since then.
It appears that if the collars aren't set in the correct position(the edge of the mirror mount isn't binding against the plastic) and you haven't torqued both upper and lower bolts equally, one will become loose as if by magic.
It doesn't make any sense to me either but here's a heads up for what it's worth.
