Yes Ernie this is just a little sleeve that helps the oil filter screen stay centered and just slips right back into the engine oil drain hole. I've got a picture of it and will post it as soon as I find it! LOL

Thank you very much.

I must say that owning this scooter is much like when I had a Moto Guzzi motorcycle. The nearest dealer was 150 miles away and because of the Guzzi board, I was able to perform any maintenance needed.

This board has been a life saver. I now know a lot more than I ever hoped for about Chinese motor scooters. My thanks to JR and to all the folks on this forum for tolerating my ignorance and providing the kind of education that makes owning a scooter fun.
