Whats happening fellow scooter brethren?
So I'm getting ready to do a complete top end rebuild on a Jonway YY250T Honda clone engine. It has the funky valve adjusters things on the outside of the valve cover. This is my first 250 and first time I have encountered this. I'm fully versed in the 157QMJ and 139QMB engines but clueless on this one. At this point, I would consider myself at the very least on the cusp of being a gy6 expert. But now I have brought shame to my family, I'm like a baby with this engine.
So I've rebuilt several gy6 top ends, I'm guessing this isnt much different. My question is after the top end rebuild how do I adjust the valves cold? Everything online, including a vid posted here points to doing it warm. I apologize if the question has been answered. Your help is always greatley appreciated.
Thanks,
CS

I have done it warm and cold never found a difference either way.
