Hello. I have a 2010 Taotao cy150a I bought a new battery a month ago so that's not the problem. I've been trying to find a wiring diagram but no luck
Hope someone can help me. Thanks

Let's get the basics, how many wires on the R/R and the colors of each wire will be a good start. have you checked the voltage at all with it running at the battery, idling and at a higher RPM?

R/R = regulator/rectifier and they come in a variety of wires and sizes:
This is the unit that converts Ac voltage from the stator to charging voltage (DC) on your scooter. Need to locate it and let's see if the stator is putting out or you just have a loose wire or bad connection, time to open the scooter up.

You see the mounting hole on it they are usually mounted on the frame usually on the muffler side of the frame and some are mounted under the front cowl by behind the instrument panel. Alleyoop

So now we need to see if it's just some bad connection or if something is not working? You need to check the plugs and wiring out well, make sure your battery is grounded well especially where the ground wire from the battery hooks up to the frame. If you find nothing wrong then you need to get out your volt meter and let's test the voltage from the stator.
Set the meter to AC volts and take a reading on the yellow and pink wires with it idling and again at say 3k RPM and report back.

Then check it out Those two wires themselves are for charging and the lights/accessories. I hope this cures it and there are not other issues.
