Hi,

I have a strpped out lever and need a replacement.  The one that came on this model is not very well made.  Seems like a soft aluminum.  Anyone know if I can use a different type?

The kick starter may get a lot of use, because I cannot locate a correct replacement starter. (looked at hundreds, see other thread.)

It really does not matter as long as it fits on the shaft and the length so it does not hit anything.

ALSO ON THE STARTER the 9 or 10 teeth starter will work just fine. if you currently have a 10 tooth starter and you get a 9 tooth starter the 9 tooth starter will turn the gear just a hair slower is all.
Using the 10 tooth starter it will turn the gear just a hair faster is all.
