Hey friends - I'm back. Here it is October and I haven't had much fun so far this year. We replaced our deck in the Spring and I just finished staining it last month. Of course we had to redo the landscaping too. Dr. Mom wrote an Environmental Education grant for the lake and prep for that shot most of the Summer. My son got married on Friday out in Pittsburgh and getting ready for that took a lot of time. Now that all that is done, I'm want to do some fishing, kayaking and riding before winter's here.
Can I go have fun now JR?

Well,ccprof,,congrats ,you made through the summer and got a daughter in law now--so you can look forward to a grandchild before you know it--and as you already know,your time is gonna be taken up with a little one--being in Pittsburg is gonna take a lot of scooter travel for sure--happy trails,fflintstone  |

Boo - November's coming. We had to get the boats out of the water so no more of that. Doing yard work before snow flies. Still no fun.

Oh yeah,you have reminded us winter is just around the corner--I guess we can get our scoots ready for cold weather--some of us just go out and crank em weekly ,some just park em until spring--I like to keep mine at ready in case we have a brief warm spell --Happy Halloween and soon Happy Thanksgiving--and Christmas--fflintstone  |

OK - still no fun. NEVER get elected to property owners board. Our October "unnamed Nor'easter" dumped 10 inches of rain. I'm roads committee chair and we're responsible for storm water management. They've kept me busy. I did go for a ride last Sat. Felt good. FFlinstone - I don't look for grandkids soon. She just finished her Master's and has tons of student loans. My son and new bride worked for the same company and it's closing. She got a new job but he's cut to 1/2 time and is looking for other work. Take care friends!
