I got a similar problem with front lights. I have a 2008 Roketa MC-79-250. It does not seem to have a fuse box. With ignition on, the small running lights are on. Now, when start the engine, only one (left) headlight turns on. With hi-beam switch on, the left headlight goes off and only the right hi-beam is on. When I press hi-beam short-time button (one you press for a moment in order to blink your hi-beams) both headlights are on, but I don't think these are hi-beams. The small running lights are always correctly on. I tried to diagnose the problem. Changed all the bulbs, but it did not help. After playing with a voltmeter, seems like the "Light Panel" (top of the attachment) does exactly what white connector with 4 junctions in the middle of bottom picture is telling it to do. From this point the cables go too much tangled inside the body of the scooter for me to try examining them without asking more experienced users for help. What else can I check? Thanks in advance. Have you check where the bulbs are connected, are they rust free and making good contact, make sure those wire connections are not loose.

[replyingto=richardthescooter3]richardthescooter3[/replyingto]Richard Curious to know how the replacement plugs have held up, whether there was any more "melting", etc. My 2008 250B died on the road the other day. Intake & Exhaust Valve gaps and fuel pump checked ok. Then, as I "peeled back the onion", noticed two connector plugs originating from engine block were melted. Looked similar to your situation. By the way, does anyone know of any other source(s) for replacement connectors. The outfit JR recommended in link above is out of stock for ~a month. Thanks Scooterdad154 Attachments:
