The question is how often do you need to change the clutch shoes? These are oem and are the performance shoes worth the money there is about a 30 dollar difference, do they last that much longer.And while im at it should the torque spring match the springs on the shoes in rpms .This is on a 2008 50 cc 4 stroke wildfire

Hi Chris,
What they call a performance clutch is ALL they did was put in Stronger Clutch Springs the pads are sameo sameo. What that is going to do is REQUIRE higher RPMS to throw out the PADS to engage the Bell. So the performance is basically HIGHER RPMS from your motor THATS like haveing a Car with a CLUTCH and PUSHING in the CLUTCH and revving the motor and then POPPING the Clutch(HAHA).

Just remember stronger CLUTCH springs REQUIRE more RPMS before your scoot starts to move.
So All your doing is what I mentioned in the beggining.

Now the Contra spring THAT ALSO requires more RPMS to open the Clutch Pulley to get top speed. But A stronger Contra Spring wears out your belts faster and creates a lot more heat.
I only recommend 1000 Contra Spring if You really want to put one on. The same with the CLutch Springs. BUT REMEMBER it will require your motor to REV UP HIGHER to get to Top End as well as when your starting off.

What I consider a Performance Clutch is IF the PADS on all three Arms have MORE PAD what I mean by that is like this: Notice the Performance Clutch Pads Compared to a Regular Clutch. More pad that grabs the BELL less slipping.

Thanks Alley its hard to tell on the web if the pads are larger or not until it arrives so ill wait on that and i dont know what kind of springs i have on this clutch but ill be ordering 1000 rpms just so ill know whats on there thanks again
