I have a 2008 Roketa MC-62-250
I just received a new carburetor and there is an electrical connector on the bottom front.
The throttle side has the Keihin name inprinted on it. (I didn't expact that) and on the enricher side CVK.
Part of the connector is a male blade and the other is a round stud similar to the temp sender on top of the engine.
Thanks for any help.

The enricher is at the top of the carb, this is at the bottom.
My only thought is that this might be some type of safety-solenoid, it's more then just a ground. and we all have to know it's not some kind of heating element.
I will be calling GMI Parts on Monday to see if they know whats up.
Why do suppliers sell parts without install instructions.

The carb for the Engine 2153 is the one I have on my scooter. The one GMI sent me is a Keihin and not the clone carb. My thought is maybe the OEM was "out of stock" and they sub'ed this one. It is suppose to be the top of the line, right? I'll hook it up tomorrow an see what happens.
Thanks

I left the electrical connectors "as is". I had to switch the bracket that holds the throttle cable and left the small idle adjustment screw in place of the 8" flex. For me, its just one less thing hanging around the engine.
I don't think its ever run this smooth.
Thanks everyone for your input.

The scoot is called a 250, Its got a 257cc engine, and ya get parts calling it a 260. I say this as a joke.
