just to recap: the only problems are no headlights and no tail lights - everything else is working

well, most of the problems were because i didn't charge the battery fully..
and i'm down to a single problem which is no headlights
is that the 20a fuse located under the right rear cover
do i have to remove that cover to get to it which would probably entail removing the metal rack on the tail as well
wish there were an easier way to reach a seemingly important fuse
regarding my current scooter satisfaction level: about a 6.5 out of ten and getting better (i like it - it is fun - and it is working)
not getting the gas milage i was hoping for and i think it needs a tuneup/adjustment
it backfires a little upon deceleration from 50+ mph (thinking timing of some sort)

those chinese blade fuses suck
i've been measuring opposing voltages on either end of the 15A fuse saying to myself "am i really seeing this"
thanks so much again for the charging and problem location help
i'm buying:
- a replacement battery at a much higher ampere production than the factory (always keeping one charged and taking it with me on the long trip(s)
- a handful of good fuses (question re: fuse rating: 12V i assume - appropriate amperage but fast or slow blo? .. probably fast?)
- a charger
- jumper cables

next in line: the bike needs a tuneup but one quick question: does the bike have a charging system in it?
