Btw what kind of oil should i be using? and how much will it hold? 1 quart?

bahaha, Thank you very much. I noticed there looks to be something missing on the drivers side of the engine at the bottom. its a recessed hole. Does the oil filter go here? and how would i go about getting one. i haven't seen any online, but haven't looked very hard either

Hello i was referred by a guy over on scootdawg. Said you guys were the best. ;D I purchased a 2007 yy250t-4 the other day with 126 miles on it. Already tore down, from my uncle, because the head gasket needs replaced. he said it does run and he rode it twice. I was just blowing out water. I purchased the whole gasket kit from scooterparts4less yesterday. And i intend on putting it all back together when i get it. This is my first scooter, and i have no idea how to time it or anything that needs to be done a certain way. Im not sure what oil to even use, or how much. But i do plan on getting it back together and changing the oil running it for about 10 miles and changing it again to make sure everything is clean. it does have the 257cc linhai forward engine.
