hello i have a 50cc peace sports scooter i just want to get it running to get rid of it. No spark all the lights work, horn etc.. I changed the cdi box and it still doesn't start. I pulled out the spark plug and no fire. Please help if anyone knows the steps or the values the parts should be to make the spark. thanks

:'(I keep having the same problem. I moved all my green wires ground wires sanded the paint on the frame, and bolted them down. Also changed the diode, changed the rectifier, and the battery. My battery died in two days. I took it to this battery shop and they tested the system and told me that the system wasn't charging the battery. I would like to know if the stator is the last thing to change in the charging system. Thanks Ernest

Compression was low even when i changed the piston and cylinder. i have some pictures of the carb. I was wondering if you think the crank seals could be bad, thats why the compression is so low. lost info to post pictures please let me know

hello just wanted to know if any one did a valve adjustment on a yy250t. The motor is water cooled and sits upright. I think my valves need adjusting, stalling in the morning but cranks back up. also when i get to 70 mph it backs down like its going to shut off but as long as i do 65 no problem at all. 4000 miles on it. checked around but couldn't find a video for a valve adjustment for my bike thank you.

do you know how to measure the coil. i don't know what i was doing but i put my meter on 20k ohms and measured from where the spark plug hook up and the other lead to the other end of the coil. Each side where the coil gets bolted down and also on the terminal where the org wire goes. I got a reading of 5.24 k ohms. I hope i did it right?

yes the new carb is getting fuel, the bowl was full. I loosen the drain screw and fuel is coming out. This is a brand new carb. I also have a clear fuel filter and gas is pumping through it. Everything is new lines, fuel filter. I just didn't check the air filter. It's a four stroke air cooled. JR you mention valve clearance how do I check that. I have no idea, but would like to find out. Also when i removed the new carb. you see a little fuel at the intake where the carb is installed, but the spark plug is dry.
