When I did get it to start it was idling low I had to give a lil throttle to keep from dying. And when I turned the fuel ratio screw it was about id say 3 turns to to tighten it. Yes the air filter is attached right ive nvr messed with it.

ok. Thank you. Ill try it. But i am about 90% sure its the battery because I charged it last night! Also would a bad solenoid have any effect on the scooter idling for a few seconds and then dying? ??

Update! I adjust the valves today. You were right the bottom valve was closed. After I adjusted the scooter started right up. But now I have another issue while the scooter, while it idles the scooter sounds like it wants to die and eventually does after about 30seconds. Could this be my fuel/air mixture??? If so how do I get the proper mixture with the scooter only idling for 30sec??

Here's an update on my situation! I tried every thing you mentioned and once I cleaned the carb I got the scooter to run for about 2 seconds but in order for the scooter to start up and keep running I had to be giving it a wide open throttle!!! and as soon as i let off the throttle the scooter died!! do you think it could be a bad carb? or do you think it can be an auto choke problem? Thanks

So while riding my scooter to work I was riding full throttle when all a sudden the scooter died as if I hit the choke switch. I coasted down to about 30mph then the scooter kickeed back on as if nothing was wrong. I got to work and parked it, then a few hrs later I started the scooter back up to go down to the store which is a few blocks down and the scooter made it round trip no problem. When I got off work I started the scooter to head home, I let it warm up for a little then as I hit the throttle the scooter died immediately!! I started it back up and it idled for 2 secs then died. Long story short I had my buddy pick me and the scooter up in his truck, I got home and tried to start the scooter and it will not start!!! I sounds like the engine wants to turn over! Not sure what the issue can be! I put more fuel( even though I had a half tank) I tried kick starting it and no luck there! I'm thinking its a fuel problem, the fuel lines could be blocked, a bad fuel filter or the fuel pump has gone bad. Please help. Thanks!! Extra info: It's a 2008 Tank racer 150, has 2080 miles on it.just replaced sparkplug and spark plug boot, gear and engine oil. .
