So scooter manufacturers are not like automobile makers having a new model every year? I was skeptical when I saw so many scooters that were "new" that were made 2012, 2013. And all. Consider me still confused

Are the Roketa scooters still being manufactured? I never see a year for scooters, never anyone advertising "2015, 2014" etc. scooters. All questions posed on the Internet are with answers from no newer than 2012. There is no one in West Palm, Florida that has a" showroom". This is why I'm confused

Suggestion for an inexpensive 250cc scooter. Notice inexpensive not cheap. Have heard all the bad stories about Chinese scooters and on line sales but (knock on wood) my mail order bride has been great. Changed my oil, run it clean only 500km right now but I want to go further then 15 miles and more power for the tourist season here in south Florida. Looking at BMS or questioning the Roketa. Dealers here are few and far between and need to rely on the Internet.
Any suggestions would help...
Thank you
