The new wheels & tires have been shipped and is scheduled for delivery Sat. Sept 5. I would like to have them spin balanced before I put them on. I did not know that Co-op would do that on these wheels. Let me know how that works out. I have thought about the rollers in the CVT but am just anxious to get mine in riding condition. I did not know about the triple tree adjustment - have no idea at all about that. I bet if I removed the dash plastic I might get to an adjustment for the seat cable. Please fill me in on the triple tree adjustment.

Hi, Crawford - Please explain a bit more about finish "building my newest my #3 white trike"? What did you do?
I just returned from a very short ride - if I had ice cream & milk I would not need a blender - just hold it and go for a ride - the vibration would take care of the rest for a great milkshake.
I am hopeful that IceBear will get on the stick and get those wheels headed my way. I have waited long enough!!!

Harbor Freight has a nice wheel balancer for about $40.00. It uses the same principle that I have used to balance model airplane props.

Crwford - I have not talked with anyone directly at IceBear. I have been going through the dealer in Nashville and this is what he reports. I am going to check with him Mon. and if no confirmation that the wheels have been sent then I will call Customer Service at IceBear. Do you have a contact at IceBear?
I have tried everything regarding the seat. I cannot hear that the solenoid is working and I should be hearing a decided "click".

I just received some good news: IceBear is sending me new wheels and tires. Hopefully they will also be balanced but I will have to wait and see. I should receive the wheels at least by the last part of next week (Sept. 3-4). I am really impressed with IceBear.

I was given instructions about opening the seat when I took delivery of the bike. And I have followed them - which were the same as Jim's and Ellpee - I have jiggled and joggle the key in its rightful place - to no avail. It would work sometimes - but not consistently at all. Opening the seat remains a real problem. I am still using the bungee cord to hold the seat down until I hear from IceBear about a solution. But I am not riding the bike at all.
Hopefully I will learn something today from IceBear about the rear wheels and tires. We are having some good riding days and I am missing out on them. I do believe that IceBear will come through with some solutions for these problems. Hopefully soon.

Thanks, Jim, for your help. I used the method you suggested to open the seat - still not working.
I jacked up the front end - the steering damper seems to be connected properly - but it still might be bad - I have no way of checking for that.
I jacked up the rear and found the tires are out of round and wobble badly - which seems to be the cause for the wobble of the bike. Hopefully I can get new tires shipped to me. I can have them changed and balanced at a local shop.

Ordered a new Zodiac and picked it up Sat - 8/15. While it came with some problems IceBear is working to correct them. The first was a throttle problem - it would not work properly and I found that the dealer doing the PDI had left out a screw holding the fixture in place. Installed the missing screw and the throttle works just fine.
The seat will not open using the switch key. I finally took the hold down bracket off and am using a bungee cord to hold the seat in place. Bummer! Again IceBear is working to correct the problem.
Worse - there is a major vibration in the front end - the whole front end wobbles badly. It smooths out a little when the speed is about 25 mph - but I am afraid to ride it with this bad wobble.
So - I have new Zodiac - a real beauty of a bike - but I cannot ride it. Hope IceBear comes with the solutions soon.

O.K. Now that you have had it for some time - how well does it work? I cannot find any shops around here that can do wheel spin balancing for 12 - 14" wheels.

I enjoyed seeing your trike family in person. I have finally decided on my trike: I am going to order a white Zodiac tomorrow.

Hi, Crawford - I really enjoyed my visit with you and to see some of your toys. I was really impressed with the Zodiac - man, that thing is BIG! I measured and remeasured - I just do not have room to store the Zodiac in my garage - so I have decided to go with the Magnum. The rear case on the maroon is impressive. Do you have the web site where you made the purchase? Would you mind giving me the address? You can email it to me - steinerjohn88@gmail.com.
Thanks again - John

Yet with all the extra dimensions - the Zodiac is only 10 lbs heavier. Interesting.

crwford -the fact that you ordered a Zodiac for your wife says a whole lot! Unfortunately - after 76 years - I am a widower and would love to have my wife with me. However, she would probably not ride - she never did with me. I would like to have a Zodiac but I do not have room in my garage - unless I leave a car out. I do have room for the Magnum. These trikes are not small.
Thank you for your comments - they are really helpful.
