i got a thread on here about my jcl 250 scooter and quiet frankly it been a piece of junk from the get go.. im trying to go car less as im trying to live my life very simply. so i was thinking of just using my scooter full time. but im afraid it wont hold up. so what im thinking is buying one of those bms 150 ruckus clones. what do you think keep working on the 250cc or just go for the 150cc scooter instead?

a little more info, i pulled the starter, does the gear go in and out of the starter or does it just stay out on these scooters, other thing is, the gear that it connects to has a lot slop to it, again i dotn know if it supposed to be that way or not since never had this kinda problem before, update got fly wheel cover taken off and was a lot of metal shaving in there, i hoping the bearing in the starter clutch is my problem for the noise it was making, now just gotta wait a week for fly wheel puller

when i ride the scooter for a mile it starts to make a whining noise, ive checked all oils and they seem fine and no metal flakes any where, im leaning toward the starter staying engaged, my reason for thinking that when i shut it off i swear i hear the starter dis engaging, anyone have idea if im right or where to look ?
