Try taking it off the CENTER Stand when you do that it moves the swingarm and it may be enough to clear it so you can pull it off. Alleyoop

57mm is across the piston.
Also I was going to mention The way it was damaged by the valves and the piston looks like something got in there the plug itself no parts where broke off just bent to shit. I looked again and it looks like the plug hole was rimmed out and re-threaded to fit a bigger plug WIDTH wise. I noticed that the bottom of the plug hole was smooth and oblong like someone drilled right down and look at the piston it looks like the drill actually hit the head and pieces of metal did all the damage. The bent plug did NOT make all that damage it was the metal shavings or and the drill actualy drilling into the piston you can see a small round indentation where the drill bit right into the piston. Yep 16" wheels that is a nice scoot but parts are harder to find on those and the motor as well. Alleyoop

You need the hole top end JUG, PISTON, RINGS the HEAD with NEW VALVES and SPRINGs the only thing that is good is the cam and chain and rockers. Alleyoop

Yes I am afraid the piston has a hole in it or it is cracked and no compression. Alleyoop

If you still have the old plug that you took out try it, you have nothing to loose really. If the piston has a hole no go but if it is just scraped it may fire up. Alleyoop

What is the number and letters on that plug , it looks to long. Looks like 3/4 inchs of threads which is to long for that motor. Alleyoop

Here you can see where the plug sticks out. Did you maybe buy the wrong plug to long? Alleyoop

OH WOW!! Well it is either a valve or the piston that did that. The plug sticks out right next to the valves but usually only the electrode and maybe 1 thread worth of the plug and it is in the curved part of the head which would be pretty hard for the piston to reach it and smash it. So something is broke in there and smashed the heck out of the plug I am sorry to say.
But at least we now know a tear down is necessary and no more fooling around and guessing. Alleyoop

Yea the rings on the piston but to see those you will have to take the JUG out as well and expose the piston and crank arm. Now if you have to do all this and find broke rings you will also see scrap marks on the side of the walls of the JUG and in that case you might just get a new top end. But lets check it out first. Alleyoop If you need help in the tear down here is a COMPLETE TEAR DOWN OF A MOTOR AND PUT BACK TOGETHER with really nice clear pictures: scooterdoc.proboards.com/thread/6884/gy6-project
