ok you should be able to remove the two nuts on the cross bar and side the battery in and bolt the cross bar back on I removed the crossbar and pushed the battery up between the bars on each side. It wedges between them which holds the battery in place! Thanks!! I'm ready to ride! Well, at least until I receive my MSO in the mail.

Yeah, I suppose to remove the crossbar, slide the battery in and use a battery strap (which supposed to have come with my scooter but didn't) to secure it.

Battery Tray ProblemHi! I just had a new Dong Fang DF300STF Scooter delivered to me. I did the PDI and changed the the fluids. The problem I have is the 12 volt 9ah battery that came with the scooter doesn't seem to fit. The scooter engine runs well but as long as I have no way to keep the battery from moving around in the trunk, I can't ride it. I have included a short video of the problem. Is there any way I can put an aftermarket battery case in the trunk? or can I use a smaller battery with a lower ah rating?
