We're giving away free gloves again this holiday season for all scooterist that come by our shop and don't have gloves to wear. Our winters here aren't really unbearably cold, but most of our scooterists ride year round and 30 degrees with 45mph wind chill on the scooter can be uncomfortable and even dangerous. This is a giveaway to anyone that rides their scooter to our warehouse and you don't need to buy anything or even have been a past or future customer. Rick ScrappyDogScooters

Well, yes, they are gy6-150 engines, but a factory took these and built them with 50mm pistons instead of 57mm, so they have a displacement smaller than 150, but otherwise, they are complete, new in the box, running gy6-150 We're blowing these out cheap. Below is our ebay listing for it. If you are interested, simply PM me or email service@scrappydogscooters.com and we'll get one sent out to you. Top end kits are $50 bucks, or put a bbk on it, or just run it as is! Dealers, if you want more than one, there are volume discounts. .ebay.com/itm/gy6-150cc-chinese-scooter-engine-new-motor-157qmj-taotao-vento-roketa-tank-ATV-/271756411133?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.ebay.com/itm/gy6-150cc-chinese-scooter-engine-new-motor-157qmj-taotao-vento-roketa-tank-ATV-/271756411133?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

We've done it, it's the official 49cc scooter ScrappyDog license plate. Same size as a standard motorcycle license plate and has that same official look from a distance. Don't be caught out there with a big void where your plate should or might be and put on a ScrappyDog plate. Free with any purchase over 100 dollars as a promotion. We're getting these printed up next week and I'm sure they will go fast. Simply make your order online or call, put in the notes section "free license plate" or mention it during your phone order, and it will be included. .scrappydogscooters.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.scrappydogscooters.com or 702-689-6035

You're right, business is a gamble. We've gone through alot of shipping clerks, many let go because they couldn't put the right part in the right box, but a couple because they were stealing. That's human nature I suppose. i'm a trusting person and some are going to take advantage of that. There are also risks in sending money over to some Chinese factory you can't even pronounce, they can rip you off and have no repurcusions, and it's happened, we move on and learn. I had known Dan for years before, and we got along well. He had explained why he was in federal prison and made it sound like it wasn't his fault. I was naive for sure. I think I post here mainly to vent, and also so others will know. I've been thanked by some for letting them know. Most people don't want to deal with people that are thiefs, even if they haven't done anything wrong to them personally. I don't believe it's to get a zing at him because he likely won't see this. He doesn't have a bit of interest in scooters or motorcycles in the slightest bit. He's looking at profit purely. There are plenty of other vendors that you see out there that are so obviously ignorant of what they are selling. He's aware of the way I feel not only from our attorney correspondence, but it's posted publicly on rip off report. I think it's best to let it go personally and move on, and let the legal system do it's long, drawn out process. thanks for the insight John

Could you imagine John if you hired one of your friends to help you out with your business and instead he just recorded and copied everything you gave him access to by letting him in your home and office so he could do exactly what you were doing? Including contacting all your customers saying you were the better place to do business with and that you weren't really into doing business at all? Contacting your suppliers and saying you were the new company? I do enjoy competition, it makes for lively action, but I consider this more a theft than anything. Nice enough guy, to your face, but be sure and keep your eyes open to what he's really up to. I try not to dwell on it, except when someone says they did business with him, I feel compelled to make it public what he did. Rick
