Same as your pic , he had to remove the cover to see it . I stuck a pen insert in the hole it goes about 1/2 of an inch in . He says he has a manual and will look to see what it is ,it got his wheels spinning . He wants to know as well.

measure the outer diameter of the stator , I have many 8 magnet flywheels . the ones I have are 89 or 90mm . Unpluging the head light switch takes off the load of the heaedlights=more power for charging . If the charging system is right on the edge of charge and discharge this will put you on the charging side , this works to replenish power used for the electric starter . I live in NYC I sit in traffic so I'm at idle often . When I was using the 6pole stator I needed the little extra to replenish .

Your charging voltage will increase and top off the battery.
