Hi everyone,
I have a problem that I can't figure out of. I've been working with it for months now. A friend of mine gave me his scooter (Baotian BT50QT-9 ECO BIKE VIKING) which had been stored in a garage and not been driving for 2 years.
I brought it home, changed the gearoil, Oil, spark plug, carburetor.
In the beginning it went very well and very fast. The air filter box was not connected because the hose was bendid, so the carburetor had free air to it. After 1 week it started to behave differently, when driving for about 20 min, the scooter slowed down and didn't wanted to start. When I let it cool down for 3-4 hours it started again, but was again very slow. The next day it was normal again, but after 20 min it repeated the same thing.
I ordered and installed a complete Air Filter Box with filter. But the problem didn't stop. I bought another carburetor, but and adjusted the fuel/air intake etc. And now the scooter seems to start all the time, but it goes slow uphill.
Can any of you good people please help me?
Best regards Alan

Is the throttle cable adjusted to open the throttle all the way? Both ends have adjustment.
