I just put a brand new carb on the bike cause the previous owner told me that was the problem, but now that it is installed I don't seem to get any fuel to the spark plug. And I'm new to scooting so I don't know where or how to find the problem. Someone please help me so I don't have a giant yard ornament

That happens quite often ,,,carb dry ,,,pull the vacuum line off the intake manifold and get some suction on it to get ga into the carb,,,should lite right up after that

So it fires when you introduce fuel into the cylinder so it's a fuel problem,,, there's acdrain on the bottom of the carb bowl,, open it up to see if there's fuel in the carb,,, if there is then I'd say a good carb cleaning is in order

THat was going to be my next thing to say,,,pull the carb and take off the bowl,,check and clean all the jets thoroughly ,,,this has to be the problem,,,be very careful of the bowl screws,,use a clean sharp screwdriver,,,it seems the Chinese have figured out a way to make screws out of butter

The screws on those things are so tight, and made of such soft material I'm surprised the maker doesn't snap the heads off putting them together,,,,before you put the new one on drill a small hole in the metal cap covering the air/fuel mixture screw ,,,turn it all the way in and then back it out 2-1/2 turns
