jeffker Good question? I would think anything is possible but one thing I know for sure is you would have to upgrade the stator on the typical GY-6 because fuel injection requires a good amount of power. JR

Yes I don't see why not,,,but Jr brings up a very important point,,,the stock gy6 stator is weak at best,,,if you upgrade that the conversion should be great,,,you'll get rid of two of the biggest weaknesses in these scoots

The stock stator on most Chinese scoots is weak,,,the Internet and forums are filled ways to work with the original and cut down consumption with LEDs or change / upgrade to more powerful units,,,it's not just Chinese products either I had a Suzuki dr650 which are notorious for their weak output,,,and the same arrangements are done,,,run with the stocker and go led lights ( which I did and put a headlite cutoff switch so no lites till I got it fired) or send out the original stator to be rewound or replace with a high output unit,,,and carburetion,,,a real mikuni round or better yet flat slide carb wakes these machines up,,,I even put a VM series round slide mikuni on my first vespa,,,best thing that ever happened to that thing,,,
